Koala Conservation Australia

Compassion in action Our year-round mission of care and conservation Koalas are on the brink of extinction Wild koalas are in crisis, and they could go extinct by 2050. Can you imagine Australia without them? We've answered the call... Here at Koala Conservation Australia (KCA), we’re a small yet determined team of experts (supported by an army of volunteers) making a BIG impact! We rescue, treat, rehabilitate, and care for sick and injured koalas at our Port Macquarie Koala Hospital which is temporarily based at our Wild Koala Breeding Visitor Centre at Guulabaa, Place of Koala, 365 days a year. We also manage visitor experiences, koala food tree plantations, conservation research, education, and habitat restoration programs. And now, we’ve launched a world-first Wild Koala Conservation Breeding Program.
