The Organic Market and Cafe

The Organic Market & Café is South Australia’s longest-running organic and wholefood store and café, based in Stirling in the Adelaide Hills. Established in 1982 by the Windram family as an outlet for organic growers, it was bought in 1988 by Grahame Murray, his late wife Caroline, and his sister Corrine. The adjoining café opened in 1992, an export arm (Organics Australia) followed in 1995, and an online store with home delivery started in 2014. Bronwyn Griffiths now leads the business, keeping the original focus on good food and service. It sells seasonal certified organic and biodynamic fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy, groceries, wine, spirits, beer, and personal care, plus wholesome meals and drinks in the café. Wherever it can, it works with local and regional producers. Shoppers can buy in-store at 5 Druid Avenue, Stirling SA 5152, or order online for delivery or click-and-collect.
