About this club
Albany Mountain Bike Club (AMBC) is the heart of the mountain biking community in Albany on Western Australia’s spectacular south coast, bringing together riders of different ages, abilities and riding styles through racing, social rides, skills development and trail advocacy. The club is active across a broad mix of mountain bike disciplines including cross-country, downhill, gravity enduro and pump track, with regular club racing and events designed to cater for both experienced competitors and riders wanting to have their first taste of MTB racing. AMBC also runs social rides and skills opportunities, with a strong emphasis on making mountain biking accessible and enjoyable for the local community. AMBC also plays an important role in the development and maintenance of Albany’s growing trail network. Local riding includes trails around Corndarup / Mount Clarence and Irrerup / Mount Adelaide, along with destinations such as the Pilot Trail, Clarence Downhill, Watertank Track, Pipeline Track and Lake Sepping Loop. Joining the club helps support local trail development and maintenance, advocacy for new riding opportunities, social rides, skills development and continued investment in mountain biking throughout the Albany region. Whether you’re looking to race, find some local riders, develop your skills, get the kids involved or help support the trails you ride, Albany Mountain Bike Club is a great place to connect with Albany’s MTB community.
