Ararat Dirt Riders MTB Club

Ararat Dirt Riders MTB Club is a volunteer-powered mountain bike club based in Ararat in Western Victoria, bringing together riders from Ararat, Stawell, the Grampians and surrounding areas through mountain biking, social riding, skills development and trail stewardship. Formed in 2013, the club grew from a shared desire to create and look after better mountain bike riding opportunities for the local community. Working alongside land managers including Parks Victoria, club members have contributed their time and expertise to developing and maintaining trails while helping grow mountain biking throughout the region. The club has a particularly strong connection with the Ararat Hills, where natural bushland, rocky terrain, climbing and singletrack provide a varied playground for local mountain bikers. The area has become an important focus for the development of mountain biking in Ararat, with the Dirt Riders playing an active role in supporting the trails and the community around them.
