About this club
Batemans Bay BMX Club is a community-focused BMX racing club based in Catalina, Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast, welcoming riders of all ages and experience levels to get involved in BMX. The club is based at the dedicated Batemans Bay BMX Track on the corner of George Bass Drive and Calga Crescent. The club provides opportunities for riders to learn, train and race, with a history of regular gate practice, coaching and club racing. New riders are welcome alongside experienced racers, while visiting BMX riders from other NSW and interstate clubs have also been encouraged to join club sessions. The BMX facility has long been an important part of the local riding community, giving young riders and families a dedicated place to develop bike-handling skills and experience BMX racing. The club is affiliated within the wider Australian BMX racing community, with current AusCycling records listing accredited BMX club officials from Batemans Bay. Please note: the club has recently been working towards significant repairs and improvements to its home track following weather damage and ongoing vandalism, which has affected public access. Check the club's latest updates before heading to the track for current riding, training and racing information. Whether you're introducing the kids to BMX, keen to try racing for the first time or looking to connect with other riders on the NSW South Coast, Batemans Bay BMX Club is a great local community to get involved with.
