About this club
Collie Cycle Club is a South West road cycling club based in Collie. The club describes a cycling history of more than 100 years, built around recreation and racing, and welcomes all categories of riders. Saturday morning social road rides leave from Crank’n Cycles at 7:00am. New riders are encouraged to join and finish with a coffee. The club also points people to Wednesday evening mountain bike rides from the same shop, with details on the Collie Mountain Bike Facebook page — Collie Mountain Bike Club is listed separately on Ride the State. The club’s flagship road race was the Collie to Donnybrook and Return Cycling Classic. The 100th edition, held on 16 August 2025 from outside the Crown Hotel on Throssell Street, was presented as the final running of that event. The club also lists the Tom Lowry Memorial cycle race. In 2026 Collie Cycle Club was a named co-host of the South32 Wambenger Cup XCO state round at Wellington Dam, alongside Ferguson Valley Mountain Bike Club and Collie Mountain Bike Association. Racing entries have been through EntryBoss. Road racing has required a current AusCycling Race All Disciplines licence. The club is volunteer-run. Membership enquiries are through the club website. Collie Cycle Club is the local road club — distinct from Collie BMX Club and Collie Mountain Bike Club.
