About this club
Cross Keys BMX Club is a family BMX racing club at Unity Park on South Terrace, Pooraka, in Adelaide’s north. The track sits on the eastern side of the Unity Park reserve and is a closed facility — you need an AusCycling membership (or a free four-week trial) to ride. Weekly activity includes Monday night gates — Mini Wheelers and new riders first, then Sprockets and aged riders — and Wednesday night racing during club series, with practice and nominations from 6:00pm and racing from 7:00pm. Loan bikes and safety equipment are available for anyone wanting to try BMX. The venue has a canteen and is run as a family club. The club has produced high-level riders, including former BMX Olympian Anthony Dean, who represented Australia at Rio and Tokyo. In 2026 club racing continues on Sqorz, including Open Gates sessions and the Pedal to the Metal series. Discover Salisbury notes regular weekly sessions and race meetings. New riders can attend on a Monday night trial. Membership is through AusCycling. Cross Keys is a volunteer northern-Adelaide BMX community — come and try on a Monday, race on a Wednesday.
