Denmark Mountain Bike Club

Denmark Mountain Bike Club is a community mountain bike club in Denmark, on Western Australia’s Great Southern coast, where the forest meets the sea. The club promotes mountain biking as a socially cohesive, fun, healthy and environmentally sustainable activity, and works with local government and community on trails that respect Denmark’s environment. The club fosters downhill, XC and social riding. In 2026 it published a calendar of social rides, racing weekends and family camps, including weekly social rides, junior options (7–12 years) and XC loops. Key 2026 dates include hosting WA Downhill State Series rounds at 82 Lapko Road, Denmark (a shuttled event on private property), club social rides, family camps at Pemberton and Margaret River, a club event and AGM, and an XC / mixed event in November. Race entries for downhill rounds require a current AusCycling Race licence (free trial and Lifestyle are not accepted for those races). The club points riders to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp for updates, because dates can change. Denmark MTB is volunteer-run. Membership for racing is through AusCycling. Social riders can follow the club calendar and ride channels. If you want trails, community rides or gravity racing in the Great Southern, Denmark Mountain Bike Club is the local club.
