East Pilbara BMX Club

East Pilbara BMX Club is a family-friendly BMX racing club based in Newman, Western Australia, providing riders in the heart of the Pilbara with a place to discover, develop and enjoy BMX. The club welcomes boys and girls from two years old and up, making it a great sport for young riders, families and adults alike. The club caters for Mini Wheelers, Mini Sprockets, Sprockets and Open riders aged eight and over, creating a pathway for children to start on balance bikes before progressing into full BMX racing. Regular Saturday night racing brings the community together, with younger riders taking to the track before the main gates drop for the evening's racing. East Pilbara BMX also provides opportunities for riders to develop their skills through coaching clinics, gate practice and track sessions. The club is an active part of the wider WA BMX community and hosts racing in the Northwest Super Series, bringing together riders from BMX clubs across the Pilbara and North West. Like many regional sporting clubs, East Pilbara BMX is powered by its members, families and volunteers, who help with everything from track preparation and first aid to the canteen and running race nights. Whether you're introducing a little rider to BMX, keen to try racing yourself or looking for an active cycling community in Newman, East Pilbara BMX Club is a great place to get involved and experience BMX in the Pilbara.
