Eastern Goldfields BMX Club

Eastern Goldfields BMX Club is the Kalgoorlie BMX racing club, based at the Kal Vegas BMX Raceway on Marshall Street, West Lamington. It is a volunteer community for riders getting started on BMX as well as those already racing. Club racing runs during school terms and breaks for holidays. In terms 1 and 4 the club races Friday nights, with registration from 6:00pm and racing from 7:00pm. In terms 2 and 3 it races Sunday mornings, with registration from 9:00am and racing from 10:00am. Practice is listed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm, with gate practice 4:30–5:00pm. In 2026 the club hosted Rounds 4 and 5 of the AusCycling BMX Racing State Series — WA at the West Lamington track (30–31 May), covering Mini Wheelers, Sprockets, Challenge, Cruiser, Junior Superclass, Superclass and Masters. Membership is through AusCycling, including the four-week free trial where eligible. The club’s TidyHQ site points new riders to AusCycling Race Off Road or Race All Discipline membership. Come-and-try sessions have been run through AusCycling. The club is volunteer-run. Current state-series entries are published on EntryBoss and AusCycling event pages.
