Eastfield BMX Club

Eastfield BMX Club, now known as Maroondah BMX Club and home of the Eastfield Eagles, is a long-established BMX racing club based in Kilsyth, Victoria. Founded in 1980, the club originally called Norton Park in Croydon home before relocating to its current facility on Colchester Road in 1991. The volunteer-run club welcomes riders of all ages and abilities, from Mini Wheelers as young as two through to experienced BMX racers. Regular coaching, practice gate nights and club racing give riders plenty of opportunities to build confidence, improve their bike handling and develop their racing skills. The dedicated BMX facility at 195 Colchester Road, Kilsyth is a competition-standard track and has hosted major events including Track Attack and rounds of the Victorian BMX Racing State Series. The club has also upgraded its starting facilities with a Pro Gate system to improve the experience and safety for riders. There's a strong focus on grassroots rider development and creating a friendly club environment, while the Eastfield Eagles have also produced riders who have competed at the highest levels of BMX. The club is particularly passionate about encouraging more girls and young female riders into the sport. The track is also open to the public when official club activities aren't taking place, making it a great place for local riders to experience the facility outside organised sessions.
