Karratha BMX Club

Karratha BMX Club (KBMX) is a family-friendly BMX racing club based in Baynton, Karratha, welcoming riders from around two years old through to adults and experienced racers. The club caters for all fitness levels and abilities, from Mini Wheelers taking their first laps through to competitive riders, with a strong focus on helping everyone improve their skills and personal bests rather than simply focusing on race results. The track features a 5-metre world-standard start gate and has been designed to provide progression from beginner through to elite-level racing. Volunteer coaches run training sessions throughout the week and on weekends, while regular Friday night racing gives riders plenty of opportunities to put those skills into practice. The club also runs Come & Try days, open track days and community events, and competes alongside Tom Price, Newman and Port Hedland in the North West Super Series. RTS Tip: New to BMX? Karratha BMX Club actively encourages new riders, with Come & Try days, coaching and hire bikes, helmets and gloves helping make it easier to get started. Check the club calendar before heading down — Friday night racing generally includes dedicated Mini Wheeler time followed by practice and racing for older riders.
