Mackay and District BMX Club Inc

Mackay and District BMX Club Inc – better known as MAD BMX – is a family-friendly BMX racing club based in Andergrove, Mackay, Queensland, welcoming everyone from little Mini Wheelers starting at two years old through to adults of all ages. The club provides a fun and supportive environment where riders can learn the fundamentals, build confidence and progress their BMX racing skills. The club's main home is its dedicated BMX facility at Snow Wright Court, Andergrove, where riders can take part in regular gate practice, coaching and club racing. Current club sessions include Monday gate practice, Wednesday coaching for different ability levels and Thursday evening racing, giving riders plenty of opportunities to get time on the track. There's a clear pathway for developing riders, with coaching catering for beginners and Sprockets through to older and more experienced racers. For newcomers keen to see if BMX is for them, the club also offers an AusCycling four-week free trial, making it easy to experience the sport before committing to membership. MAD BMX is also an active part of the wider Queensland BMX racing scene. Club riders regularly travel to compete in the Queensland State Series, while Mackay hosts its own larger race events and carnivals throughout the season, bringing riders from other clubs to the region. Like so many great BMX clubs, MAD BMX is powered by its members, families and volunteers, with volunteers playing an essential role in keeping race nights and club activities running. Whether you're introducing a little rider to BMX, keen to try racing yourself or looking for a supportive club where you can continue developing your skills, Mackay and District BMX Club is a great place to become part of the Mackay BMX community.
