Manning Valley BMX Club

Manning Valley BMX Club is a family-friendly BMX racing club based in Taree on the NSW Mid North Coast, bringing together riders of all ages and abilities for racing, training and plenty of fun on two wheels. The club has a strong focus on friendship and community, making it a welcoming place whether you're completely new to BMX or already chasing bigger racing goals. The club's dedicated BMX track is located on Urara Lane in Taree, providing the local community with a purpose-built venue for BMX racing and rider development. The club has been part of the Manning Valley sporting community for many years, giving generations of local riders somewhere to discover the sport and progress their skills. Regular Wednesday night racing runs during school terms, weather permitting, with riders welcome to race as regularly or occasionally as suits them. Training and gate sessions provide additional opportunities to practise starts, improve bike handling and build confidence before lining up behind the gate. There's a pathway for riders right across the sport, from Mini Wheelers and Sprockets through to Challenge, Cruiser, Masters and Superclass racing. New riders can also take advantage of AusCycling's free trial membership, providing an easy way to experience BMX before committing to the sport. Manning Valley is also firmly established on the wider NSW BMX racing calendar. The club regularly hosts AusCycling ACT/NSW BMX Racing State Series competition, including a major double-header in June 2026 featuring Rounds 3 and 4 of the State Series. The weekend catered for everyone from Mini Wheelers and Sprockets through to Junior Superclass, Superclass and Masters riders. The Taree track was also selected to host the 2026 Mighty 11s Test Team and Memorial Class, bringing some of Australia's leading 11-year-old BMX racers together as part of the long-running Australia–New Zealand Mighty 11s program. Manning Valley riders themselves compete well beyond the local track too, with club rider Oli Moran challenging at the very top of the 2026 AusCycling BMX Racing National Series Superclass Men's standings. Whether you're looking to introduce the kids to BMX, have a crack at racing yourself, develop your skills or compete through to state and national level, Manning Valley BMX Club is a great place to connect with the BMX community on the NSW Mid North Coast.
