MTB Wagga has been at the heart of the Wagga Wagga mountain biking community since 2005, bringing together riders of all ages and abilities across the Riverina. With a strong mix of social riding and competitive racing, the club places particular emphasis on welcoming juniors, beginners and riders looking to become part of the local MTB community. The club is closely connected with some of Wagga's best-known riding locations, including Pomingalarna Park, Willans Hill, Silverlite Reserve and the Wiradjuri Trail, with even more riding available within a short drive at locations such as Livingstone National Park, Tumut and Coolamon. Pomingalarna is a particular hub for the club, offering fast, flowing cross-country trails through native bushland and hosting a range of club races and events. MTB Wagga has a proud history of racing and events, including hosting three National XCM Championships at Pomingalarna, the Wagga Wagga 6 Hour and numerous social and competitive events for junior and senior riders. The club also continues to play an important role in local trail stewardship, working alongside Wagga Wagga City Council, land managers and other community groups to help maintain, rehabilitate and develop sustainable riding opportunities.
