Lidcombe Auburn CC

Lidcombe Auburn Cycling Club (LACC) is a long-established cycling club based in Lidcombe in Sydney's west, with a strong tradition in road and track cycling and generations of riders representing the club in competition throughout NSW and Australia. At the heart of the club is Lidcombe Oval, one of Sydney's remaining outdoor cycling velodromes and a venue with a long history of club and representative track racing. Lidcombe Auburn has called the venue home since the 1940s, making the club an important part of the cycling history of the local area. The club provides opportunities for riders to develop their skills and experience cycling competition, with a particular connection to track and road racing. Lidcombe Oval provides an accessible environment for learning the fundamentals of track cycling before riders progress to steeper indoor velodromes and higher levels of competition. LACC also has a strong junior racing presence. Club riders regularly compete at NSW Metropolitan, State and National level, with Lidcombe Auburn riders continuing to feature prominently across junior age categories in current AusCycling championship competition. The club has produced and supported riders progressing through the Australian cycling pathway, while retaining the grassroots club environment that allows young riders to learn race craft, build confidence and become part of the wider cycling community. Lidcombe Oval is shared with other cycling organisations, including Neo Cycling Club, creating an active cycling hub where riders can access training and competition throughout the year while representing their respective clubs. Whether you're looking to discover track cycling, develop your racing skills, find a pathway into junior competition or connect with one of Western Sydney's long-standing cycling communities, Lidcombe Auburn Cycling Club offers a proud connection to the area's road and track cycling heritage.
