Pine Rivers BMX Club

Pine Rivers BMX Club is a family-oriented BMX racing club based in Brendale on Brisbane's northside, welcoming riders of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners discovering BMX for the first time through to experienced and elite racers. The club now calls Nolan Park, 34 Kenworth Place, Brendale home, providing riders with a dedicated BMX racing facility for training, gate practice and competition. The move gives Pine Rivers a new base for continuing its long-standing role within the South East Queensland BMX community. There's plenty of opportunity to get involved, with regular gate practice, club racing and structured coaching. Monday night club coaching is particularly suited to beginners of all ages, while additional private coaching opportunities allow developing and experienced riders to continue working on their skills and race craft. New riders are very welcome. Pine Rivers participates in the AusCycling four-week free trial program, allowing newcomers to experience BMX before committing to membership. You don't necessarily need a dedicated race bike to have your first go either – a suitable bike can be used to get started, and the club has a limited fleet of BMX bikes available for trial riders. For those ready to race, Pine Rivers runs a busy Friday night club racing series, with regular gate sessions providing extra track time between race meetings. Riders can progress from club competition into the wider Queensland BMX racing scene, and the club welcomes appropriately licensed riders from other clubs to its race meetings. Pine Rivers is also an important venue on the Queensland State Series calendar. In August 2026, the club hosted Rounds 5 and 6 of the AusCycling BMX Racing State Series – Queensland, bringing riders from around the state to its new Brendale facility. The club is not-for-profit and run by volunteers, with families and members contributing to the racing, coaching and activities that keep the club operating. That community involvement is a big part of the club's identity, alongside its emphasis on creating a friendly environment where riders can participate at whatever level suits them.
