Shepparton BMX Club is a leading BMX racing club based in Shepparton in Victoria's Goulburn Valley, providing a pathway for riders of all ages and abilities to discover BMX, develop their skills and progress through to State, National and international-level competition. Its international-standard Supercross track incorporates both 5-metre and 8-metre start hills and multiple race-line options, allowing the facility to cater for grassroots riders while providing the technical challenge required for Australia's best BMX racers. For younger riders, BMX provides an opportunity to develop fundamental bike-handling skills while becoming part of a supportive club community. Mini Wheelers and Sprockets provide pathways for children beginning their BMX journey, while Challenge, Cruiser, Masters and higher-performance categories allow riders to continue racing throughout different ages and stages of the sport. Gate practice and rider development are important parts of the Shepparton BMX environment. Regular opportunities to practise starts allow riders to work on one of the most important skills in BMX racing, while time on the track helps develop jumping, cornering, race lines and overall confidence.
