South Gippsland BMX

South Gippsland BMX Club is a community-focused BMX club based in Leongatha, Victoria, bringing the fun, camaraderie and excitement of BMX to riders and families across the South Gippsland region. Established in 2019, the club grew from a volunteer-led effort to bring Leongatha's disused BMX track back to life and create a dedicated place for the local BMX community. The club is based at the South Gippsland BMX Club track at 88 Horn Street, Leongatha, with members historically travelling from surrounding communities including Mirboo North, Korumburra and Phillip Island. The track itself is owned by South Gippsland Shire Council, with club volunteers contributing to its ongoing maintenance. BMX is open to a huge range of ages and abilities, and South Gippsland BMX has focused on providing a friendly environment where newcomers can learn the basics and more experienced riders can continue developing their skills. The club has also offered access to loan bikes, helmets and gloves to help make trying BMX easier for new riders.
