South West Cycle Club

South West Cycle Club (SWCC) is a cycling club based in Bunbury, Western Australia, bringing riders together from across Bunbury and the wider South West through social riding, training and cycling activities designed to help members develop their skills and enjoy more time on the bike. Records show a Bunbury Cycle Club operating by at least the 1930s, while the historic South Bunbury Cycle Club raced at Bunbury Recreation Ground, where a bitumen cycling track and later lighting were installed for night racing. Although those earlier organisations shouldn't necessarily be treated as the same legal club as today's SWCC, they demonstrate just how long organised cycling has been part of Bunbury's sporting community.
