Southern Tasmania Cycling Club

Southern Tasmania Cycling Club (STCC) is a Hobart-based cycling club bringing together Masters riders from across Southern Tasmania through road cycling, training, competition and a shared enjoyment of riding. The club provides a community for experienced cyclists as well as riders who want to continue challenging themselves and enjoying competitive cycling as they move into Masters categories. Its focus is on creating opportunities for men and women to stay active, ride with other cyclists and remain involved in the sport throughout different stages of life. Road cycling is central to the club's identity, taking advantage of the enormous variety of riding available around Hobart and Southern Tasmania. From rolling rural roads and coastal routes to some of Tasmania's famously challenging climbs, the region provides an outstanding environment for both training and competitive cycling. For riders interested in competition, the club provides a connection to the wider Tasmanian Masters racing community, where graded and age-based competition allows cyclists to continue racing against riders of comparable experience and ability.
