Townsville BMX Club is the BMX racing club for Townsville, based at Idalia. The club’s Facebook page lists 46 Stuart Drive, Idalia; OpenStreetMap maps the circuit as Townsville BMX Club on Equine Court, Idalia. This is a different club from Townsville Cycle Club (road/track) and Townsville Rockwheelers MTB Club, both already on Ride the State. The club runs a busy weeknight program on EntryBoss through 2026: Monday gates, Tuesday Mini Wheeler and Sprocket sessions, Wednesday open track, and Friday night club racing, with holiday open-track sessions in school breaks. Open track is typically 6:30pm–8:00pm, with a member entry fee lower than general entry. AusCycling Race-licensed riders are welcome. Facebook invites new riders to start on AusCycling’s four-week free trial. The club also uses Instagram (@townsvillebmxclub) and a Linktree for club links. Like other community BMX clubs, Townsville is volunteer-run. Current fixtures are on EntryBoss; practice and racing updates go out on Facebook. Whether you are lining up a Mini Wheeler or racing on Friday night, Townsville BMX Club is the local track in Idalia.
