About this club
Warrnambool Cycling Club is the road racing club for Warrnambool. It is distinct from Warrnambool BMX Club and Warrnambool Mountain Bike Club, both already on Ride the State. The club website publishes handicap road-race results through 2025 and 2026 on local loops (Falls, Forest, Bants). Named 2026 events include the Tinelli Port Campbell to Warrnambool Race and the Greg Gleeson Memorial. Racing is typically open and veterans handicaps, with fastest-time and first-female awards recorded in the published results. Visiting riders from clubs such as Geelong, Portland and Port Fairy appear in those result sheets. The club is volunteer-run. Membership and licences are through AusCycling. If you want country-road racing in the south-west, Warrnambool Cycling Club is the local road club — not the BMX track at Jetty Flat or the MTB club.
