Geeveston Rail Trails reuse Huon Timber Company formations (1904-1926) inland from Geeveston for walking, horse riding and mountain bikes. Geeveston Progress Association lists five cleared Grade 2 trails - Kermandie River, South Creek, North Creek, Riawunna and Crookes Creek - each roughly 2-4 km one way on gently sloping 2-3 m rail formation with signed creek crossings. Main access is via Arve Road then Oigles Road (watch for log trucks); no facilities beyond signage, so carry water and leave no trace.
