Ipswich Cycle Park is a purpose-built asphalt criterium facility at 36 Huxham Street, Raceview, behind the Briggs Road Sports Complex. OpenStreetMap maps the sports centre as Ipswich Cycle Park. Ipswich City Council lists three configurable loops: 1,310 m, 1,080 m and 400 m, with a 7 m cyclists’ lane, 2 m runners’ lane and 1 m safety lane. The park is open to the public 4:00am–10:00pm. Lighting and security cameras are on site. The main staging area doubles as a learn-to-ride space for families when not in use for events. Ipswich Cycling Club races the 1.3 km long crit loop for night criteriums. All events require a council permit. Council names Ipswich Cycling Club as the associated sporting club.
