Murraylands Cycle Speedway
About this ride
Murraylands Cycle Speedway at Homburg Park in Murray Bridge is home to one of only four cycle speedway clubs left in Australia. Riders race four laps of a flat, oval gravel track, four at a time, with contact allowed, so it's fast and tough. The club has been running for more than 25 years and welcomes riders of all ages, from toddlers to 80-year-olds, plus sidecars. Meetings run fortnightly on Sundays from around midday, March to November, and new and casual riders are welcome. Spectators get in free, and it's $5 per rider or $15 per family (cash only).
