Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is a fantastic riding destination in Cootamundra, offering something for everyone from first-time riders through to experienced mountain bikers. The network features 10 trails ranging from Green (Easy) through to Double Black Diamond, giving riders plenty of options to progress their skills or simply enjoy a fun ride through beautiful native bushland. Set amongst stunning Yellow Box woodland, the trails weave through peaceful scenery with regular opportunities to spot kangaroos, echidnas and native birdlife. Well-marked signage, colour-coded trails and scenic lookout points make the network easy to explore and enjoyable for riders of all ages. Looking for more? A 1.7km connecting fire trail links Pioneer Park directly to the Cootamundra MTB Park, where you'll find a further 8.5km intermediate cross-country loop featuring flowing singletrack, berms, bridges and technical trail features. Together, the two networks create one of the region's best MTB experiences, with enough variety to keep riders entertained for hours. Pioneer Park also offers excellent rider facilities, including sealed access, toilets, picnic tables, covered gas barbecues and plenty of open space to relax before or after your ride. The park is RV-friendly, making it an ideal stop for riders exploring the Riverina or travelling through New South Wales.
