Warren Reservoir Reserve Trails
About this ride
Warren Reservoir Reserve, a short drive south-east of Williamstown, has two unsealed shared-use loops that SA Water says suit mountain and gravel bikes. The 8.8 km River Loop starts at the Old Bridge Hub (eastern car park) and links into and through Mount Crawford Forest. The 5.7 km Dam Wall Loop starts at Red Gum Cove (northern car park), with views of the dam wall and a link to the 9.7 km Greenhood Trail to South Para Reservoir. That makes it an easy add-on to a Mount Crawford or South Para gravel day. Walkers and runners use the trails too, so ride considerately. The reserve is open sunrise to sunset and closed on Total Fire Ban days. No dogs.
