Wave Rider Pump Track is the official name of the Flagstaff pumptrack at the St Helens mountain bike trailhead in Break O'Day. Premier of Tasmania and Pulse Tasmania coverage confirm the World Trail-built Flagstaff Pumptrack opened in mid-December 2024 with $500,000 State Government support; Break O'Day Council's Feb-March 2025 newsletter records the community naming competition winner Wave Rider and notes the pumptrack is open for riders of all ages and skill levels beside parking, cafe facilities and access into the wider St Helens MTB network. RTS Tip: Distinct from the live St Helens MTB Trails card & use Wave Rider for the Flagstaff pump session before rolling onto the stacked loops.
