About this ride
Karlkurla Bushland Park protects about 200 hectares of regenerating Great Western Woodlands bushland less than 5 km from Kalgoorlie's CBD. A 7 km network of walk and bike trails winds through the woodland, including the 4 km Doug Krepp Walk Trail and the Katunga Lookout tower. A nature playground opened in 2024, making it an easy family ride. Enter off Paddington Drive. The park is open 24 hours, but summer heat is serious, so ride early and carry plenty of water.
