Toormina Velodrome

Toormina Velodrome – Coffs Coast Velodrome in Toormina, just south of Coffs Harbour, is a purpose-built outdoor cycling track and the home base for much of the Coffs Coast’s track cycling activity. Located on Minorie Drive, it forms part of the wider Toormina cycling and sporting precinct. The velodrome is a 330m banked tarmac track, offering a dedicated traffic-free environment for track training and racing. Alongside it is a short, technical criterium circuit of just under 1km, although City of Coffs Harbour currently lists the criterium track as closed. The velodrome remains an active cycling facility and is used by Coffs Harbour Cycle Club, which runs track cycling throughout the year. Activities include race practice, junior development, motor-paced sessions and women’s training, with the main track racing season traditionally running from October through March. The club also offers opportunities for newcomers to try track cycling. Importantly, you don't necessarily need to be racing to enjoy the facility. City of Coffs Harbour states that the cycling venue is open free to the public as well as being available for organised sporting bookings. The velodrome is floodlit, with parking available at the facility.
