Warragul Velodrome

Warragul Velodrome is an outdoor concrete cycling track located on Alfred Street in Warragul, West Gippsland. The track features variable banking, with noticeably steeper turns at each end, providing a dedicated traffic-free venue for track cycling, training and fitness riding. The velodrome has a long association with Warragul Cycling Club and forms an important part of the region’s cycling facilities. The track is also open for public use when not being used for organised activities. RTS Tip: The banking at Warragul is steeper through the ends of the track, so if you’re new to velodrome riding, start low and build your speed gradually as you become comfortable. Check for club racing or organised sessions before visiting to make sure the track is available for casual riding.
