Ashmore BMX Club

Ashmore BMX Club is a family-friendly Gold Coast BMX racing club based at the corner of Cotlew Street and Currumburra Road, Ashmore. The club was established in 1980 and is run by volunteers who welcome riders getting started on BMX as well as those already racing. Club racing in 2026 is listed on EntryBoss, with regular Friday night rounds. Registration and practice typically open at 6:00pm, with racing from 7:00pm. Classes run from Mini Wheelers on balance bikes through Sprockets and age-group racing; Mini Wheelers race free at club rounds, with a modest entry fee for other classes. The club caters for a wide spread of riders — from two-year-olds on strider bikes through to adults over 50 on cruisers or dirt jumpers looking for air time. All riders need an AusCycling membership to race. Ashmore is a closed racing environment run by a committee and members who help new families get started. Come down on a race night to see the track and meet the volunteers. Membership is through AusCycling. The club publishes race entries and the season fixture on EntryBoss, and updates on Facebook.
