Derby MTB Club

Derby MTB Club is the local mountain bike club based in Derby in north-east Tasmania, home to the world-renowned Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails. The club sits at the heart of a riding community that has grown alongside more than a decade of trail development, helping connect local riders and support mountain biking within the Dorset region. With the Blue Derby trail network right on its doorstep, members have access to an incredible variety of riding, from approachable flow trails through to technical enduro terrain and longer wilderness adventures. Derby has become one of Australia’s most recognised mountain bike destinations, attracting riders from around Tasmania, interstate and overseas. The wider Blue Derby network is extensive, so allow more than one day if you can — and consider adding Blue Tier and Atlas to your trip for some of the region’s iconic longer rides.
