Dirt Maidens is all about helping women and girls build confidence, skills and community through mountain biking. Founded by experienced rider and coach Claire McDonnell, Dirt Maidens creates supportive opportunities for riders to learn, progress and simply enjoy being out on the trails together. From MTB skills clinics and Ride Club sessions to adventure rides, retreats and dedicated programs for girls, Dirt Maidens caters for riders at different stages of their mountain biking journey. Their experienced coaching team focuses on creating a welcoming environment where riders can develop their skills, challenge themselves at their own pace and connect with other women who love riding. With its roots stretching back to the original Dirt Maidens Challenge events in the Snowy Mountains and Mt Buller, the community continues to grow, with a strong focus on getting more women and girls outdoors, onto bikes and involved in mountain biking for the long term. Whether you're taking your first steps onto the trails, looking to improve your technical riding or simply want a great group of women to ride with, Dirt Maidens is a fantastic community to connect with.
