About this club
Tableland Cycle Sports (TCS) is the current mountain bike club for Atherton on the Tablelands. It maintains Atherton Forest Mountain Bike Park in the Baldy Mountain Forest Reserve and Herberton Range State Forest, accessed via Rifle Range Road. Atherton MTB Club and Tableland Cycle Sports are treated as one club here: TCS is the incorporated club that runs the park, hosts events and works with Queensland Parks, Tablelands Regional Council and Traditional Owners. A second card for “Atherton MTB Club” would duplicate it. The park is a year-round forest network of green-to-blue trails. Trailforks and local tourism pages credit TCS volunteers with trail care. Flow Mountain Bike has quoted TCS on a funded trail refurbishment and a youth trail-builders program. TCS has promoted enduro racing at the park through EntryBoss, with AusCycling Off-Road or All Discipline membership required. New members are described as welcome; helpers for trail maintenance are always needed. The former rideatherton.bike site did not serve club content when checked (only a server index), so website and social URLs are left blank. Tableland Cycle Sports is the Atherton trail club — distinct from Cairns Mountain Bike Club and Southside MTB Club.
