Adelaide Super-Drome

The Adelaide Super-Drome at State Sports Park in Gepps Cross is one of Australia’s premier indoor track cycling venues and a major hub for cycling in South Australia. The centrepiece is a 250m softwood track with steep 43-degree banking, built to full UCI standard and equipped for high-level competition and training. The Super-Drome is home to AusCycling SA and the Australian Cycling Team’s track program, while also hosting state, national and international-level racing. It’s not just for elite riders either, with AusCycling running public cycling sessions catering for different ages and skill levels. RTS Tip: This isn’t a velodrome where you can simply roll in and ride whenever you like. Check the current AusCycling SA track program for public sessions, training opportunities and events before visiting. If you’ve never ridden a steeply banked indoor velodrome before, an organised introductory session is the best way to experience the track safely.
