Anzac Park Pump Track
About this ride
Anzac Park Pump Track is the Burdekin Shire asphalt pump track at Anzac Park in Ayr. Burdekin Life (5 August 2026) reports Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort and Member for Burdekin Dale Last cut the ribbon on the facility the previous Friday (opening around 31 July 2026), describing a seven-turn looped design with jumps, berms, rollers and platforms for BMX bikes, scooters, skateboards and mountain bikes. Mayor Dalle Cort is quoted saying the design is inclusive and built for all skill levels. The project was funded primarily by a $760,000 Queensland Government Works for Queensland 2024-27 contribution and followed advocacy including from the Burdekin BMX Club; Burdekin Shire Council's June 2025 parks investment news had flagged the Anzac Park Precinct pump track as the hero project. Lat/lng left blank - OSM has Anzac Park Ayr as a park polygon only, not a named pump-track object.
