Belmont Crit Circuit (the Geelong Criterium Track) is a purpose-built sealed cycling circuit on Belmont Common, next to the Barwon Valley Activity Centre and the Russell Mockridge Pavilion at 1 Barwon Heads Road, Belmont. OpenStreetMap maps it as The Geelong Criterium Track on Settlement Road, Belmont. Geelong Cycling Club moved here in 2017. The circuit is approximately 5 m wide and 2.2 km long and can be divided into shorter loops. Geelong Cycling Club uses it for junior coaching (beginners welcome, ages 7–16) and for club racing. When not booked for races it is available to the wider community for training away from motor traffic. Published conditions of use include: one-way clockwise travel; slower riders stay left; maximum two abreast when training; approved helmets; no motorised vehicles or motor pacing; children under 12 supervised. Clubrooms on site are used when weather makes riding unsafe.
