Bindoon MTB Park
About this ride
Bindoon Mountain Bike Park brings purpose-built mountain biking to the beautiful Chittering Valley, around 84km north of Perth. Set across approximately 100 hectares of hillside just east of Bindoon, the park currently features 10 trails catering for beginners through to experienced riders. The 4.8km green Chinkabee Trail loops around the park and provides access to the wider network, while trails such as Cowslip deliver fast, approachable flow with rollers and berms. Intermediate riders can step things up on trails like Ten 80, while experienced riders can tackle Black Sheep, a black-rated descent combining jumps, berms, rock gardens and drops, with optional double-black features thrown in for good measure. The elevated setting also delivers some brilliant views across the surrounding valleys, orchards, farmland and Bindoon township. RTS Tip: Use Chinkabee as your introduction to the park — it circles the network and makes it easy to scope out the different trails before choosing your descents. There are toilets and parking at the trailhead, and Bindoon is only around five minutes away for food, fuel and supplies. Keep an eye on the trail grading as you progress; some of the advanced lines include significantly bigger technical features than the green and blue trails.
