Brighton Pump Track
About this ride
Brighton Pump Track is the City of Holdfast Bay clay pump track just off Commercial Road in Brighton, beside Brighton train station. TrailScapes (builder for Holdfast Bay, January 2017) describes a long narrow plot beside the train line with two long straights and plenty of berms, plus a smaller beginner pump track on the other side of the start mound. Play & Go Adelaide reports the main track at about 170 metres and around 1,000 square metres of clay, designed for any ability, with riders from early childhood through to older adults, and notes it is free and may close after heavy rain. Holdfast Bay's volunteering page confirms the Brighton pump track off Commercial Road as a council community facility. RTS Tip: Jump off the train at Brighton, pump a few laps, then roll to the beach & classic Holdfast Bay half-day.
