The Cairns Esplanade Cycle Path is a flat shared waterfront path along the Cairns Esplanade. Cairns Regional Council lists about 2.5–2.7 km of pedestrian and shared paths here (with markers each 500 m on the sport and fitness page), and publishes a Cairns Esplanade cycle map (2.7 km). Ideal for an easy family ride beside the lagoon and foreshore — keep left and give way to pedestrians on shared paths.
