Centennial Park Cycle Circuit

Centennial Park Cycle Circuit is the 3.8 kilometre cycling and rollerblading track that follows the perimeter of Grand Drive in Centennial Park, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Centennial Parklands (the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust) publishes the circuit as a dedicated cycling and rollerblading track. OpenStreetMap maps named Grand Drive through the park; a separate Learner’s Cycleway is also mapped on the southern side of the park. Trust rules require helmets, a 30 km/h speed limit and one-way traffic directions. Cyclists are not permitted to ride in packs of more than 16, or closer than 3 metres. Bicycle racing is prohibited unless specifically approved by the Trust. Adult cyclists are not allowed on the Learner’s Cycleway. Off-road cycling on grass is against Trust regulations. The City of Sydney describes Centennial Park as more than 189 hectares of open space with gardens, wetlands, sports fields and cycle tracks, with cycle hire on site. Watch for vehicles, horses, pedestrians and dogs on and around Grand Drive. Confirm gate and vehicle hours before you ride.
