Colquhoun MTB Park

Colquhoun MTB Park is a cross-country mountain bike network in Colquhoun State Forest near Lakes Entrance in East Gippsland. The park is packed with hand-built singletrack winding through eucalyptus forest, with flowing sections, short climbs, berms, rollers, timber bridges, log rollovers and optional jumps and drops. Most trails are graded blue intermediate, with shorter options and a pump track making it possible to tailor the ride to your ability. The 15.5km Scalectric Loop is a local favourite, linking together some of the best singletrack in the park and including the rollercoaster-like Lollipop section. Riders can also connect into the Gippsland Lakes Discovery Trail, opening up options for longer adventures through the surrounding forest and towards Lakes Entrance. RTS Tip: Facilities at the trailhead are limited, so bring your own water, food and riding essentials. For a first visit, the Scalectric Loop is a great way to sample the park, while newer riders can stick to the shorter trails before building up to the full loop.
