Creek Trails Mountain Bike Network
About this ride
The Creek Trails Mountain Bike Network, tucked into the bush off South Carters Road near Margaret River, is an old-school favourite that blends hand-built singletrack with newer machine-built features. The network currently includes 16 trails, with a great mix of flow, technical riding, fast descents, rocks and jumps. Trails such as Classic Creek deliver flowing blue-rated singletrack, while Western Suburbs steps things up with more difficult rocky and technical terrain. Add jump-focused lines, including Valley Girls and Trail of Discontent, and fast descents such as Goobers Pool, and there’s plenty here for intermediate and experienced riders looking for something with a little more character than a polished trail-centre lap. RTS Tip: Creek Trails is all about exploring and linking lines together rather than following one big signed loop. Classic Creek is a good introduction before progressing onto the harder trails, and having the Trails WA or Trailforks map handy will make navigating the network much easier. Expect a mix of hand-built and machine-built trail styles, and check current conditions before riding, particularly after wet weather.
