Duck Creek MTB Park
About this ride
Duck Creek MTB Park, just east of Alstonville in the NSW Northern Rivers, packs a heap of variety into a compact 9–10km purpose-built trail network. Built and managed by Northern Rivers Dirty Wheels Mountain Bike Club, the park combines cross-country, flow, technical and freeride-style trails, ranging from approachable green runs through to challenging black descents. Expect flowing berms, jumps, bridges, rock features and technical singletrack, with around a dozen descending trails making it easy to climb back up and session your favourites. Pinzen Needles is a great introduction for less experienced riders, while trails such as Pacific Rim turn up the difficulty with steeper, more technical terrain. RTS Tip: Duck Creek is maintained by club volunteers, so check the latest trail status before riding, particularly after the Northern Rivers has had heavy rain. There are no toilets or drinking water at the park, and parking is limited, so arrive prepared. If you enjoy the trails, consider supporting Northern Rivers Dirty Wheels — rider and club support is what keeps this little network running.
