Dunsborough MTB Park
About this ride
Dunsborough MTB Park, incorporating the Dunsborough Country Club and adjoining Meelup trails, delivers around 20km of singletrack through native South West bushland just minutes from the centre of Dunsborough. The Country Club network provides around 10km of predominantly twisting cross-country singletrack, while the adjoining Meelup trails turn things up with technical riding, enduro-style descents, jumps, rock and log features and famously loose WA pea gravel. With green, blue and black options, B-line bypasses and trails used as part of the Cape to Cape MTB race, there’s enough variety for progressing riders through to experienced mountain bikers. RTS Tip: Start from the Dunsborough Country Club, where visitors currently pay a $5 trail-maintenance fee covering up to five days of riding, then link into the wider Meelup network if you’re looking for more technical terrain. The loose pea gravel can make corners surprisingly slippery in dry conditions, so take your first lap easy before picking up the pace. If the clubhouse is open, you’ve also got toilets, food and drinks waiting at the end of the ride.
