About this ride
Giants Trails is the newest mountain bike network on the South Coast, officially opened in November 2025 in Walpole-Nornalup National Park. Twenty green-rated, family-friendly flowing trails link Walpole, Nornalup and the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk through towering tingle and karri forest, and you can even ride through a living tingle tree. Combine trails into loops from about 7 km up to the 82 km Epic Tale, or link in sections of the Munda Biddi. Start from the Walpole Trailhead in town or the Giants Trailhead near the Tree Top Walk. Both have toilets, bike racks, repair stations and picnic tables. Gravel bikes are welcome on the flowing trails too. Mobile reception is patchy, so download maps before you head out.
