About this ride

Griffith Mountain Bike Park – Griffith NSW is a purpose-built MTB facility on Abattoir Road in Griffith, bringing around 4.5km of mountain bike trails to the heart of the NSW Riverina. Officially opened in May 2024, the park was developed following community consultation to create an accessible place for locals and visitors to get into mountain biking. The network has been designed for different ages and riding abilities, making it particularly appealing to families, beginners and riders wanting somewhere to build their confidence and skills. Alongside the trails is a dedicated skills area featuring rollover and kicker ramps, giving riders somewhere to practise bike handling and progression before taking those skills onto the trails. The facility also includes a shelter, car parking, fencing and public toilets. While Griffith might be better known for its wineries, food and agricultural landscape, the MTB park adds another reason to bring the bikes when exploring the Riverina by bike. There’s also more established off-road riding around nearby Scenic Hill, where local riders use the fire trails and singletrack. Whether you're searching for Griffith mountain bike trails, mountain biking in the Riverina, Griffith MTB Park or family-friendly MTB trails in NSW, this is a great little purpose-built network to add to the ride list. RTS Tip: With around 4.5km of trails, Griffith MTB Park is ideal for doing multiple laps, working on skills or introducing newer riders to mountain biking rather than chasing a huge day of trail kilometres. Check current trail conditions before heading out and combine it with other riding around Griffith if you're looking to make a bigger day of it.
