About this ride
The existing Kingborough MTB Park is currently CLOSED. A replacement mountain bike park is planned within the Kingborough Sports Precinct Kingborough MTB Park in Kingston, south of Hobart, is a compact purpose-built mountain bike and skills park designed for everyone from kids and beginners through to experienced riders. The approximately 3km network includes flow trails, dirt jumps, technical features and a pump track, with trails such as Kids’ Corner, Holy Roller, Serpent Track and Black Betty offering opportunities to build skills and progress onto more challenging riding. The original park was built in 2012 and progressively upgraded, becoming a popular local riding and skills facility within the Kingborough Sports Precinct. The existing park is currently closed for redevelopment, with Kingborough Council planning a new mountain bike park and pump track within the precinct as part of the wider sports precinct redevelopment. Community consultation on the new park design is planned for 2027. RTS Tip: The existing Kingborough MTB Park is currently CLOSED. In the meantime, nearby Kingston Park has a beginner asphalt pump track, a 300m learn-to-ride circuit and connections to the Whitewater Creek Track.
